When shopping for headsail furlers one can find a wide variety manufacturers such as: Pro Furl, Facnor, Harken, Hood, Bamar, Schaefer, Reckmann, Reefit, CDI; as well as a wide variety of prices. So where does quality and low pricing find a happy marriage? How can one possibly make a decision that’s worthwhile with all of…
What a better way then to end the year with one of our last trips aloft for 2014? This was taken early November and was one of the last views from aloft for the year. Here we were aloft to conduct another one of our Rigging Safety Inspections. Maryland Yacht Club offers one of the…
Click on the images for a larger view. It was a dreary day in the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Here we were aloft at the desirable Baltimore Marine Center Lighthouse Point. Our FREE rigging safety inspections are becoming quite popular. This was a Beneteau 473, a tall mast that offers a nice view. Thanks for checking out…
Even though I have no plans of ever becoming a professional sailor, sailing around the world or across an ocean for that matter. This picture will inspire just about anyone. Imagine sailing around the world. That would be a feat that only a very small few of us will ever en devour in our lives. Now imagine…
Vitters Shipyard does it again. “Sarissa” a 42.6 m (140.58′) carbon fiber spectacle, is the largest carbon sloop built in the Netherlands, maybe even in the world, to date. Check out the Vitters Shipyard YouTube feed for more super yacht footage. good morning I would like to know if PASHA is for sale ?Or if it is possible to know the name of the place she was build.Thank you and best regards
Hello Christophe. That is a beautiful boat, but unfortunately I do not know how to find it’s builder or if it is for sale. However! Our friends over at Denison Yacht sales, namely Lloyd Cooper has a real knack for finding special boats and you may want to click the link for more info on him.

HI Christophe, this was a one-off build designed by the American naval Architect William for his own use. She was built in Aluminum by Global Yachts (the Howdy Bailey yard) back in 1995.
If you’re looking for something like this I’d recommend some other ‘Spirit of Tradition’ style builders that might be of interest to you. Drop me a line anytime and I can send you some yachts that match your criteria.
