Product Overview

This one-ended stay is designed for sailors installing or replacing a single shroud or complete standing rigging package where final stay length must be determined during installation. Each stay is supplied with a Hayn Marine Swage ‘T’ Terminal on one end, leaving the opposite end unfinished so the customer can install the correct mechanical fitting once final measurements are confirmed.

BEFORE ORDERING – Not all Shroud and “T” Terminals have the same dimensions. It is recommended to use the terminal that corresponds with the backing plate that is installed in  your mast. You can double check the width and thickness of the fitting against manufacturer specs at the bottom of this page. If your numbers don’t match, just let us know and we’ll help you find the correct swage fitting.

• 316 Stainless Steel wire rope (T316)

• Hayn Marine Swage ‘T’ Terminal professionally installed on one end

• Supplied in 5-foot length increments

• Clean-cut, unfinished opposite end (ready to trim to length and install mechanical fitting)

• Mechanical fitting for the opposite end (purchased separately)

• Furler system components

• Turnbuckles, toggles, or pins beyond the swaged stud

We intentionally do not pre-install the second fitting so you can finalize length precisely after the correct length has been determined
