New England Ropes Viper double braid is a “mid-tech” line featuring a braided polyester cover with an XHMPE core, offering more strength and less stretch than equivalent polyester lines without paying the premium that high-tech lines demand. Both cover and core have good UV resistance – the cover can be stripped for greater weight savings. Viper is New England Ropes’ answer to Samson’s MLX3.
