Samson Ropes Amsteel-Blue is a high-performance 12-strand single braid of 100% Dyneema fiber. Amsteel-Blue offers very low stretch and is stronger than the same sized wire rope, while still being light enough to float. Amsteel-Blue is Samthane coated, which enhances the fiber’s already high abraision and cut resistant characteristics. It is the highest strength single braid Samson makes.

Note “Amsteel-Blue” is a product designation from Samson; the line is available in several colors. Amsteel-Blue consists of SK-78 Dyneema while Samson’s legacy product, Amsteel, consisted of SK-60 (Higher SK values correlate to more strength & less stretch). 7/64″ size is 8-strand instead of 12. Larger diameters from 7/16″ to 4″+ available on request.
