MLX3 is a lightweight core-dependent line with an XHMPE core and a polyester cover that has high strength and low stretch.
The core is Samthaneâ„¢ coated to match the color of the cover, making the line strippable for greater weight savings.
The Samthaneâ„¢ coating is abrasion resistant, and has different formulations for specific rope fiber types.
It adds firmness, greatly improves wear life, and also reduces cutting and snagging, and resists contamination.
