Nitronic-50 Rod rigging is smaller in diameter and roughly 20% lighter than equivalent 1×19 stainless steel wire, meaning it both saves weight aloft and reduces aerodynamic drag. Rod rigging lasts longer than wire in most regions of the world, and is more durable.

Our rod rigging is supplied by BSI, where it is straightened and then shipped to us in coils. We then add fittings and head the rod to length in the field (up to -30) or at our shops (up to -60). Larger rod sizing is available upon request.

For industry professionals, we are happy to either supply uncut rod as-is, or to head it for you at our industry-rate labor pricing (to either be picked up or shipped; must be a professional in the rigging industry & have TRC owner approval to receive industry rates).
