Why One-Ended Standing Rigging?

When replacing standing rigging, the hardest part is getting the final length exactly right — especially when installing a new furler or working on an older boat.

Our one-ended standing rigging solves that problem. We professionally swage a Hayn Marine Fork on one end, then leave the opposite end unfinished so you can measure, cut, and install the final mechanical fitting once the proper length is determined.

Product Overview

This one-ended standing rigging is designed for DIY sailors replacing headstays or complete standing rigging systems where final stay length must be determined during installation.

Each stay is built from 316 stainless steel wire rope and professionally swaged with a Hayn Marine Swaged Fork on one end. The opposite end is left clean-cut and unfinished so you can install a
Hi-Mod, Sta-Lok, (click either for more info) or other swageless fitting once the exact length is confirmed on your boat.

This approach eliminates guesswork, reduces costly mistakes, and lets you complete your rigging replacement without sending wire back to a shop.
