Colligo Chainplate Distributors are designed for setting up the tension of your rigging through lashings at chainplates on deck, mast fittings, or even turnbuckles. Colligo recommends using lashings only on boats smaller than 30′, and on specific multihull applications; otherwise a turnbuckle system or turnbuckle & lashing combo system of tensioning should be used.

Distributors feature 4 lashing line holes (except the smallest size, which has 2) for greater load distribution, hardcoat anodizing, extra large sections for higher strength rating, and sleeved mounting pin holes for long term durability. Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum.

Note: Some pin size flexibility is designed into these parts – the bushings can be changed to accommodate smaller pins if necessary.

  • Standard (female)-style distributors are designed to slide over & pin onto a deck-level chainplate.
  • Male-style distributors are designed for use with female- or fork-style chainplates, or in combination with a turnbuckle when using a turnbuckle & lashing combo tensioning system.
  • Fork-style distributors have one large lashing hole rather than 4 smaller ones for traditional-style lashings.
