TRC TECH TIP: If you are going keep this in the “stowed” position when not in use, we recommend making your inner forestay with a marine eye as the bottom fitting. Use a right-hand threaded fork to connect into the forestay lever (DON’T FORGET A LOCKING NUT). This will allow you to store this very expensive piece of hardware below decks when not in use.

This “redesigned” inner forestay lever features the CS Johnson “over-center” design with a new non-fouling locking device.

  • Female thread at top accepts swaged ends, toggle jaws or mechanical fittings
