Our custom-made adjustable mast step for the J/24 one design class allows you to easily adjust the mast butt fore & aft between races using only a wrench. Kit includes a new retrofitted stainless steel mast base plate, calibrated eye turnbuckle, custom TRC anchor plate, fasteners, and a roll of Teflon tape (the mast base plate will come with Teflon tape pre-applied; the supplied tape should be applied to the mast step area of the boat where the mast base plate will slide).

If you would like to re-use your existing mast step, you will have to drill and mount the existing step onto the plate. Upset flat fasteners should be used (contact us for installation details).

If you would like to upgrade to a new Kenyon mast step, select the “new step” option to have TRC pre-install the new mast step onto the stainless mast base plate.
